The Illinois Masters Swimming Association (ILMSA, formerly CMSA) is a Local Masters Swimming Committee (LMSC) of United States Masters Swimming (USMS). Alligator Hosted Meet Eligibility: Only current USMS registered swimmers will be eligible to swim. All swimmers must be registered prior to entry deadline or fill out a one-day USMS application to participate in Time Trial. “Applied For” registration will not be accepted. The Alligators Swim Team is a privately run team and a member of USA Swimming with athletes from all over the northwest suburbs.  The Alligator Aquatics Swim Team has a long history of competitive swimming success.  This tradition continues under the direction of Head Coach Mary Ruffin.

Our team is open to swimmers ages 5 - 99, who can swim 25 yards of freestyle and 25 yards of backstroke efficiently.  Through the use of a progressive program all swimmers whether novice or advanced will receive the coaching and training necessary to guide them to their full potential.  Our coaches’ are USA Swimming and ASCA certified with many years of coaching and competitive swimming experience.
