Instructions for Returning Families

Welcome ORCAS Returning Families!

Here are the instructions on how to register for the 2019 Season.  In-person registration will be on Saturday, March 9th from 8 a.m. - Noon in the Raven Creek Club House.  In order to make the registration process go smoother and reduce wait times, we will have registration windows this year.  Please plan to attend during your window.  

  • Last name begins with A-C:   8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
  • Last name begins with D-K:   9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
  • Last name begins with  L-R:  10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
  • Last name begins with S-Z:   11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.​

 

STEP 1:

Let’s get started! Online Registration

Priority Registration will start with online registration which will be open from March 1st till March 9th.  All returning families will need to register online at www.oakcreekorcas.org

Username: Family email address used last year (Please DO NOT create a new Account)

Passcode: Enter your password. Forgot it? Click on Forgot Password to create a new password

  1. Please remember to choose your child’s t-shirt size.

  2. Finally, before check-out YOU MUST add the swimsuit to your basket to purchase it.  It is on the page that is titled "Registration Fees" under the donations.  You will be able to try on swimsuits and pick-up during the in-person registration.

  3. We will only accept Cash, Checks or Venmo for the fees ($250 Oak Creek Fee, $50 ISL fee, and swimsuit fee. Plus payment for mesh bags or swim caps you decide to buy.)

IMPORTANT:

  • Your swimmers should be pre-loaded, however, if they are not you will need to add them.

  • You MUST update your cell phone numbers and add them to the SMS field. 

  • Check that all your information is current.

  • If you are unable to come to the in-person registration, you may arrange a time to drop off your registration (verification forms, check etc.) BEFORE Saturday, March 9th.

STEP 3:

Let’s verify it and make this official!

Residency Verification & Swimsuit pick-up:

All returning families must come on Saturday, March 9th
 

  1. Bring a checkbook or cash - We are NOT accepting credit cards. If you want to use Venmo we are trying this out this year.

  2. Families will be able to try on swimsuit samples and pick-up their suit(s). *IMPORTANT: You need to have purchased your swimsuit during registration.

  3. We will have Mesh bags for Sale.  We will also be taking orders for personalized swim caps.

  4. You must submit the following forms:

Acceptable form of identification

  • A driver's license (any photo driver's license or California identification card is permitted)

  • A passport with photo

  • Any new swimmers are required to bring an original birth certificate or passport along with a copy for us to keep.

  • Residency verification

Bring any 2 of the following for residency verification (only these forms are acceptable): 

  • Current Electric Bill

  • Current Home Gas Bill

  • Current Cable Bill

  • Current Water Bill

  • Current Waste Management Bill 

  • Current Official Property Tax Forms
    The address to which these documents were mailed must match the address that is being used to establish residency.

  • Current Tax Correspondence
    The address to which these documents were mailed must match the address that is being used to establish residency.

  • Current Payroll Stub
    Both name and address must appear on payroll stub.

 

NOTE:

Swimmers who would like to take a break during the Summer of 2019 will need to fill out a Leave of Absence form to secure their spot for the following season.  All forms can be found under Registration > Forms to be completed. You can scan this and send it to orcasregistrar@gmail.com. Deadline for all LOA forms is Sunday, March 17th.

STEP 4:

Volunteers get ready!

Volunteer Sign-up will be available at 1 p.m., March 9th, after you have completed registration.

Log-In (if not already logged in)

Click on Volunteers > Volunteer sign-up>choose the Practice Meet > sign up for one job > choose other meets to have a minimum 12 hours.

Please Note:

  • You are required to earn a minimum of 12 volunteer hours during the season

  • Practice Meet volunteering is mandatory (1 shift per family)

Families must register online prior to live registration on March 9th
