Practice Schedule and Groups

Practice Schedule

Our team practices are Monday through Friday for 10 weeks. For Summer 2020, we have two practice schedules: 

Until Friday, June 5th (when Woodbridge schools close for the summer): 

All 8 year old and younger - 3:45pm - 4:45pm

All 9 year old and older - 4:30pm - 5:30pm thru 6:00pm (depending on the level)

Starting Monday, June 8th until the end of the season (Friday, August 7th):

Level 1 -  3:45-4:45

Level 2 -  4:30-5:30

Level 3 - 5:15-6:30

Level 4 - 4:30 dry land (Bring shoes) 5:00-6:30 in water

*Note:  3:45 and 5:15 sessions typically have the least number of swimmers, so these times would be a great choice for those looking for a less crowded practice.


Morning Schedule

Morning swim practices are from 7:00am - 8:30am for all Level 3 and Level 4. Please contact the coaches if you are interested in joining the morning swim practices. 


Beginner Swim Schedule

Beginner swim practices are 30minutes long and are scheduled for every 30minutes, starting at 4:00pm.


Criteria for the swim levels are as follows (coaches will advise here):

Level 1 - water safe and can swim at least half the length of the pool.

Level 2 - able to swim the full length of the pool with side breathing and some rudimentary understanding of the different strokes.

Level 3 - able to swim all strokes legally the whole length of the pool.

Level 4 - advanced group, by invitation from coaches only.

All levels are determined by the coaches for proper safety and ability placement. 

For all groups, there is a 15 minute stretching and dry land opening to practice prior to entering the water.
