What is USA Swimming?

As the National Governing Body for the sport of swimming in the United States, USA Swimming is a 400,000-member service organization that promotes the culture of swimming by creating opportunities for swimmers and coaches of all backgrounds to participate and advance in the sport through clubs, events and education.

Membership is comprised of swimmers from the age group level to the Olympic Team, as well as coaches and volunteers. Members can get involved through our more than 2,800 clubs across the nation.

USA Swimming is also responsible for selecting and training teams for international competition including the Olympic Games, and strives to serve the sport through its core objectives: Build the base, Promote the sport, Achieve competitive success.

If you are new to competitive swimming, check out the USA Swimming Parent Resource section for tons of great information.

USA Swimming - National Age Group Motivational Time Standards
National Age Group (NAG) Motivational Time Standards are age group time standards designed to encourage swimmers to step their swimming up to the next level. These time standards guide you from just starting out in your age group to reaching your highest potential. Start at Level B and work your way up to Level AAAA times.

Hubbard Swim Club encourages and rewards swimmers who achieve NAG time standards throughout the season. Click here to learn more.
