Meet Announcement

TM Event Entry File

The “Alloy Alliance” is an agreement by USA Swimming teams in the Lehigh Valley to work together to provide more positive swimming experiences for our introductory-level swimmers.  The goal is two-fold: a) improve upon the degree to which these swimmers enjoy the sport and b) enhance the development of the introductory-level athletes in the Lehigh Valley.

TEAM ELIGIBILITY

  • The Alloy Alliance is a Closed Meet, open only to the following teams:
    • BLUE, EMAC, LVA, PAAC, PSC,
    • If you are a LV team and you want to be invited, please email CoachKyle@blueeagleswimteam.org  or Coachseth@blueeagleswimteam.org or meetdirector@blueeagleswimteam.org

SWIMMER ELIGIBILITY

  • For swimmers 12&U (including 8&U)  with current USA-S Registration
  • Swimmers cannot have an “A” time in any event (even events they are not swimming in AA meet)
    • The rationale here was that swimmers who have “A” times already have a quality experience through the regular A/BB/C and qualifying meets schedule.
    • Once a swimmer achieves an “A” time, he/she graduates from the Alloy Alliance Meet.
  • See 2017-2020 Motivational Time Standards to determine eligibility.

AWARDS

  • Ribbons awarded for places 1-6 in each age group and gender
  • Swimmers achieving their first “A” time at an Alloy Alliance Meet will receive a Bag-Tag commemorating their achievement.
