Equipment needed:

Equipment listed below are Items swimmers will need to help their training.  All equipment listed is mandatory (meaning strongly advised) with the exception of caps. Buying things throughout the season is 100% fine. Any questions comments or concerns please email the Head Coach at pennaquaticsheadcoach@gmail.comLinked are some examples of the recommended equipment.  Pricing and sizing may vary. We will have our vendor, Personal Best, on site at the pool in September for suit sizing and purchasing.

 

All Groups (White/Orange/Black/Jr Plus and Senior):

Swim Bag - Mesh swim bags are great places to put all swim gear (toys). It helps it to air dry.  Swimmers in the Black, Jr Plus and Senior Groups are required to have a mesh bag to keep their equipment.

Fins 

2x Goggles

Cap - (Team Provides 2 caps a year) - 99% of girls wear caps, but only boys who care deeply about their hair wear caps at practice.

Drag Suits - This year we are offering practice mesh drag suits for boys (and girls if they want!) with PENN lettering on the back. Price TBA. (Note: Coach Rich prefers everyone choose the “both option” above, drag suits are to be worn at every practice)

Also recommended Strokemaker paddles: Black group and Jr Plus/small green or medium yellow, Senior group/medium yellow or large red for the older boys.

Team bathing suits are highly recommended (over 90% of the swimmers get them) but not required if you have a very similar suit. They run about $30 for boys and $50 for girls.
