"ONE SWIMMER AND ONE COACH"

The Penn Charter Aquatic Club was established in the spring of 2003 by Paul Coleman and Kevin Berkoff. The one swimmer was All-American, Kathleen Huber.

PCAC is a USA-Swimming year-round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for swimmers of all ages. As a member club of Middle Atlantic Swimming, the goal of PCAC is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve competitive success at his or her level of ability.

The program began with 1 swimmer and 1 coach. Since then PCAC has coached over 500 swimmers in 10+ years, and currently employs 2 full time and 6 part time coaches. As the program has grown, many achievements have followed. PCAC has trained numerous swimmers including: All-Americans, JR National & SR National qualifiers and finalists, World Junior Championships qualifiers, and taken 2 swimmers to Olympic Trials.  Dozens of age group swimmers have qualified to compete at Junior Olympics, MA Senior Championships, and the numbers of Zones qualifiers continues to grow from one in 2003 to up 12 in a given season. PCAC continues to finish in the top 6 at JOs among teams at least twice the size.

PCAC trains at the William Penn Charter School pool. During the summer, PCAC utilizes area facilities such as Kelly Pool and AFC Fitness.

From beginners to Olympians and everyone in between, we create an environment where excellence is inevitable and fun!
