Coach Rob Robitaille has been working with Parkland Swimming and Diving for the past 10 years.  Coach Robitaille spent 5 years as an assistant coach to Erik Posegay, and the past 5 years as the Head Coach for the program.  In his time as a Head Coach at Parkland Robitaille has helped to lead the Girls Team to 5 Consecutive District XI Titles, aided numerous athletes in winning District XI Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.  Robitaille has also helped several athletes obtain PIAA State Championships, State Silver Medals, and numerous State Medalists.  Robitaille has also helped athletes obtain 9 School Records, and 7 Pool Records.

In the past three years, Parkland Swimmers have had a 90% Lifetime Best success rate, and many of those swims have seen time drops averaging greater than 2 seconds per swim.

With the belief that all kids are capable of greatness, Rob has aided many athletes to achieve. "I believe that a coach's number one priority is to help kids develop into well-rounded people by teaching them the work ethic needed to succeed in the real world through swimming and athletics and by showing them new ways to achieve their goals.  The Athlete is the person achieving the times, the coach only helps show them ways to get there."

Robitaille also teaches Earth Science, and Oceanography at Parkland High School.

Head Age-Group Coach

Coach Sean Fisher is entering his third year as an assistant coach at Parkland High School. During the past two seasons as an assistant to Coach Robitaille; Coach Fisher has had the opportunity to learn the tradition of Parkland Swimming founded by Bob Clark many years ago. During his time as an assistant for the high school team Coach Fisher has helped to develop many new swimmers to the sport and aid in the execution of the coaching philosophy set forth by Coach Robitaille.

Over the past year, Coach Fisher has helped to establish the Age Group Program at Parkland High School. This program was started with the goal of finding new athletes for the sport, while developing them into competitive swimmers whom will compete on the high school team one day. Coach Fisher believes that swimming should be fun and challenging at the same time. He is constantly striving to learn the newest coaching techniques and methodologies and applying them to the Age Group Program. As Age Group Director, Coach Fisher is always looking to develop the future of Parkland Swimming and Diving so that the team will continue to be successful for many years to come.

Coach Fisher is married with one young son, Tegan. He also teaches English in the Parkland School District.
