Jeremy Byrne is entering his seventh year with the club. Prior to RAC Jeremy spent two years as the Head Age Group Coach for the Baldwin Swim Club. He has also spent time at the Baldwin School as part of the school's athletic faculty and coached at both the Middle School and High School level. Before joining Baldwin, Jeremy was the Head Age Group Coach and Head Masters Coach for Friends' Central Aquatics. Jeremy has coached in 3 different LSCs (MW, WYO, MA), worked with swimmers at all levels of competition (Swim Lesson to Olympic Trials), and brings a diverse and unique perspective to the program. Jeremy graduated from the University of South Dakota where he double majored in English and Fine Arts. While in college, Jeremy was a member of the USD Men’s Swim Team. Jeremy currently resides in Downingtown with his wife, son and three daughters.

Katie joined the RAC coaching staff in the summer of 2012. She grew up swimming for RAC and is a graduate of Radnor High School. Katie attended Penn State University, where she competed in the sprint freestyle events. She was an All-American, school record holder, NCAA qualifier, and Big Ten Champion at PSU. Katie has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Penn State and she recently obtained her master’s degree in Education from La Salle University. In addition to her role at RAC, Katie is a fifth grade teacher in the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District and the head swim coach at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square.

Chase joined the RAC coaching staff in 2001 and has coached competitive swimming and recreational basketball in Radnor Township since 1999. He swam for Radnor High School and Radnor Aquatic Club. Chase graduated from Villanova University School of Business with a Bachelors in Accounting and Finance & a Masters in Finance and Strategic Management. Chase is a Certified Public Accountant with New York Life.
Matt has been a member of the RAC coaching staff since 2002. He served as the head coach at Aronimink Swim Club (in Drexel Hill) from 1995 - 2012. He has also been the head coach of the Girls' and Boys' Swimming/Diving team at Haverford High School since 2007. He swam scholastically for Malvern Prep from 1988 - 1994. Matt has a B.S. in Mathematics from Penn State University, and an M.S. in Instructional Technology from Philadelphia University. He has been a mathematics teacher at Haverford High School since 1998. Matt is a member of the American Swim Coaches' Association (ASCA), and he has earned Level 3 Education status for ASCA.

Tanya has been providing swim instruction since she was 15 years old. As a child, she swam for UMLY for 8 years and the Pennypacker Country Club for 10 years. She recently graduated from Temple University with a degree in Kinesiology and with a teaching certification in Health and Physical Education. She also has a degree in Recreational Management. She specialized in therapeutic recreation and worked at a psychiatric hospital for children during the first few years of her career. Tanya will be working as an assistant coach with all levels of our swimmers. She will be the primary coach for our Barracuda and Piranha squads.
Mary Beth Ryan

Mary Beth Bonner-Ryan swam competitively for Finnegan's Swim Club in Philadelphia, with Backstroke as her primary stroke. In college, she was a voice/music major and uses those skills as a professional cantor and as the lead vocalist in an Irish band. She was the head bronze coach at the Haverford Swim Club and has been a coach with RAC since 2005. In addition to to her role as the mother of 3 swimmers who went on to being athletes in College, Mary Beth works at Haverford High School with Special Needs students in the Life Skills room.

Jaime is excited to be a new addition to Radnor Aquatic Club. She grew up in Springfield, and swam for Springfield High School, as well as Radnor Aquatic Club. In the summer, she swam at Aronimink Swim Club, where she also coached for two seasons. Jaime attended Millersville University as an education major while swimming all four years for the women’s swim team. She is currently a Science teacher at Drexel Hill Middle, and continues to swim and coach. Jaime has also coached at Philadelphia Country Club, and currently coaches for Marple Newtown High School.
Ruth Small has coached at the Upper Main Line YMCA, Baldwin, and Martins Dam. Most recently she coached the Radnor Girls High School team. She is thrilled to be part of the RAC staff.
Julie joined the RAC coaching staff in 2014. She has served as co-Head Coach at Stony Lane Swim Club since 2019 and previously served as an assistant coach with Stony Lane. She has additionally coached various soccer teams and camps in the Radnor area. Julie swam for Harriton High School and graduated with honors from Penn State in 2010 with a B.S. in Finance.
Stephanie has been coaching swimming since 2007 and is a former RAC swimmer. She served as an assistant coach for Aronimink Swim Team from 2007-2012 and since 2012 has served as the head coach at Aronimink. She also was the assistant swim coach at Rustin High School from 2014-2018 and is now the assistant swim coach at Haverford High School.
Stephanie started her swimming career at Aronimink Swim Club then continued on in high school at Archbishop Prendergast & Radnor Aquatic Club and for one year at West Chester University. She is currently a physical education teacher at Haverford Middle School.
Siobhan is excited to be joining the Radnor Aquatic Club coaching staff. Siobhan swam for RAC her senior year of high school in 2015 and continued her swimming career at La Salle University, where she graduated in 2019. Siobhan previously coached swimming at Philadelphia Country Club, continues to coach Drexel Hill Raiders Girls Lacrosse, and has been conducting group and private swim lessons at Aronimink Swim Club since 2015. Siobhan is looking forward to working with each swimmer to enhance their skills and work towards their goals.
Caitlin started her swimming career at Aronimink Swim Club and continued swimming throughout high school at Upper Darby High School and Lansdowne YMCA. She has been coaching swimming since 2012, where she started as an assistant coach at Aronimink Swim Club. She has also coached for Lansdowne YMCA and Philadelphia Country Club, where she was head coach for one season. She currently teaches chemistry at Conestoga High School and along with coaching at RAC, will continue coaching swimming as the head coach of Swarthmore Swim Club this summer. Caitlin is looking forward to being part of the RAC team and working with swimmers of all different skill levels.
