High School Spring Warm-up (9th through 12th grade)
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 7:15-8:45 pm
Please note the following:
Full payment is due at the time of registration. Once the registration process is complete, there are no refunds for any reason whatsoever.
All spring warm-up groups are non-competitive. Swimmers are not registered with USA Swimming and it is not intended that they would participate in swim meets.
We cannot move swimmers to different practice groups to accommodate different schedules or missed practices. We apologize in advance for this, but it is not possible due to the size of our program and for insurance reasons. Swimmers cannot attend practices on days other than their scheduled group times.
Swimmers who are not yet in high school must attend one of our evaluations to be properly placed into a group (high school swimmers do not need to attend and can just sign up for High School Spring Warm-up group). The swimmer’s current ability level will be the only consideration for group placement.
Evaluation Dates (no other dates will be set up, swimmers must attend one of the three listed):
Monday, March 2nd at 6:30 pm
Wednesday, March 11th at 6:30 pm
Saturday, March 14th at 10:00 am
These are the only evaluation dates we are offering, so swimmers must attend one of the three prior to registering.
The cost of the groups will not be prorated for any reason, including late registration.
Novice Group: Swimmers must know how to do all four competitive strokes (including side breathing in freestyle) and swim them for a full length of the pool. Swimmers who cannot do all four strokes will be referred to our swim lesson program.
Intermediate Group: Swimmers must be able to swim all four strokes legally; must be able to do a proper freestyle and backstroke turn; must complete 4 x 50 freestyle during the evaluation on a set interval. Swimmers ages 9-13 who cannot complete these requirements but meet the requirements for the Novice group will be recommended to sign up for Novice.
All registration is done online through the GPAC website. Swimmers who are not completely registered will not be able to participate in any practices until the online registration has been completed. Please click the link below to view the online registration instructions.
If a swimmer does not meet the above requirements they should be enrolled in our swim lesson program. Please go to www.gpacswimschool.com for more information on upcoming sessions.
