(These jobs support the team over the course of the season and often satisfy all 3 volunteer requirements for a family)

Position Description Time Frame Volunteers
Meet Volunteer Coordinator - Boys
  • Confirm all watches are working before the start of the season
  • Maintain control of watches throughout the season
  • Monitor Volunteer sign ups on Team Unify before each meet to ensure all positions are filled.  If any are not filled, send emails to solicit help before meet day. 
  • Print and bring volunteer report the day of the meet to check in volunteers for jobs
  • Update and Track family volunteer efforts to ensure all meet criteria of 3 volunteer jobs before the end of the year.

Snack Bar Coordinator

This role does NOT work the snack stand at meets.  This is an oversight and coordination role. 

  • Create a plan for baked/store-purchased food items to be sold at home meets.
  • Purchase & store items for snack stand
  • Coordinate Set up, exchange and return of cash box for snack stand after home meets.

SAL Invitational Coordinator

Responsible for collecting and communicating information on SAL invitationals, including:

  • Monitoring the SAL website for Invitational Meet Info postings
  • Creating Event on WCAC website
  • Confirming receipt of WCAC entries after submission by coaches
  • Communicate volunteer assignments for invitational meets
  • Confirm upload of times from SAL invitational meets have been loaded onto WCAC website

“B” Champs Meet Coordinator

Lead the WCAC team in planning and executing the SAL “B” champs:

  • Understand requirements of SAL League
  • Work closely with WCAC Board members to plan meet
  • Create timeline for tasks to complete before Meet Date
  • Recruit volunteers to assist in planning and execution of meet
  • Communicate with other clubs attending
  • Set Meet Day schedule for volunteers

Awards Coordinator
  • Obtain WCAC awards bag from coaches following SAL Invitationals and championship meets
  • Organize awards by family
  • Communicate and distribute awards to families during the season

Meet Supplies Monitor

Confirm and monitor the meet supplies needed for home meets:

  • At the start of the year inventory watches, DQ slips, clipboards, paper, pencils, etc.
  • Monitor levels of supplies after each home meet
  • Replenish supplies during the season when needed

Service Project Organizer

This role helps to coordinate the efforts of WCAC in support of charitable organizations.  In the past we have:

  • Collected food for the Mattie Dixon Community Cupboard 
  • Collected unwrapped gifts at the holidays for donation
