HoCo Aquatics is seeking a part time swim team coach. A minimum of two years coaching experience and strong competitive swimming background required. Must have current CPR+AED, Safety Training for Swim Coaches, and Lifeguard Certifications. Must have completed the appropriate USA Swimming Foundations of Coaching requirements for number of years as a USA Swimming coach. Completion of the USA Swimming background check and APT is mandatory within 1 week of hire date.

The Swim Team Coach will support the Head Coach with all aspects of the HoCo Aquatics Swim Team, including planning and running team practices and participation in swim meets. Team coaches are responsible for ensuring the development of each swimmer while encouraging sportsmanship, healthy competition, and attendance at practices and meets. Coaches are expected to support the team’s Mission and Vision Statements; to be an active member and leader of the team; knowledgeable about the activities and policies of the team, is responsible for various administrative duties, and for maintaining coaching credentials. Coaches are also expected to attend/participate in staff meetings, parent meetings, and to participate in one’s own professional development such as attending/taking on-line clinics, and pursuing USA/ASCA coaching certifications.
