Groups

 

Senior Group 

All members of this group possess a solid background in the sport of competitive swimming.  Seniors must have the highest level of skill, ability, and commitment necessary to achieve States, Sectionals, and National qualifying times.  Training will be conducted 6 days a week, with additional preparations as warranted. Coaches recommendation required.

 

Junior Group

All members of this group possess a solid background in the sport of competitive swimming.  These swimmers are younger than the Senior team members, and they possess the same drive and commitment necessary to hone their skills in preparation for future success.  Training will be conducted 5 days a week, with additional preparations as warranted. Coaches recommendation required.

 

Cadet Group 

This group is open to swimmers needing stroke refinement, starts, turns, endurance, and  familiarization with rules and regulations concerning the sport of competitive swimming. This group also will serve as a transitional group for those swimmers planning to join one of the upper level groups.  Training will be conducted 4 days a week.

Novice Group

This group is open to swimmers needing stroke refinement, starts, turns, endurance, and familiarization with rules and regulations concerning the sport of competitive swimming.  This group will also serve as a transitional group for the CADET group. Swimmers must be able to swim freestyle and backstroke for a minimum of 25 yards continuously. Training will be conducted 3 days a week.

 

Mini Group

This group is open to swimmers with minimal to no competitive swim experience. The training will consist of introduction to stroke, starts, turns, endurance, and familiarization with rules and regulations concerning the sport of competitive swimming. This group will also serve as a transitional group for those swimmers planning to join the NOVICE or CADET groups. Swimmers must be able to swim freestyle and backstroke for a minimum of 25 yards continuously. Training will be conducted 2 days a week.
