Below is a message from Amy:

Many of you attended the Great Wolf team banquet and heard the incredible stories of success from our graduating seniors, all of whom credited Dave and his coaches for their accomplishments both in the classroom and pool.  Their stories were not only moving, but also affirmed the values and benefits this great sport bestows upon our children.

Those who stayed until the conclusion of the banquet to hear the presentation about the 50 meter pool facility are aware this is a significant endeavor that requires a large sum of money.   Our primary source of income will be from a fund-raising committee.   We are looking for volunteers to be part of this committee.   We have a short amount of time to raise a seven figure goal.  We need passionate, driven, goal orientated committee members to ensure our success.

It goes without saying the dedication and sacrifices we, as parents, make to enable our children to pursue their dreams are immeasurable and often times overwhelming, but the benefits our children reap far outweigh the demands.  We know everyone’s time is precious, but in order to make this dream a reality, we need your help.

Everyone who is willing to commit their time and energy to see this great project fulfilled are encouraged to join this committee.

There will be a kickoff meeting for all those interested.   Tuesday, April 29, Spring Lake Park High School, 6:00-8:00 p.m.

There are several ways to participate on this committee.  If you know you want to help, but are not sure how, please come to one of the meetings and we will figure it out.  If you are interested, but unable to attend the initial meeting, please contact me and let me know.

Thank you,

Amy Reed-Hall
