The Hudons Valley Dolphins is a competitive swim program which promotes an atmosphere of fun and family. We offer training groups for swimmers of all ages and abilities and commitment levels.

TRAINING GROUP FEES & DESCRIPTIONS
SWIM TEAM FEES:
The Dolphins Swim Club fee for each swimmer consists of a Registration Fee PLUS Training Group Fees. If the swimmer participates in USA Swim Meets, there will be additional meet fees associated with each event entry.
REGISTRATION FEE:
Youth Swim Team
Registration Fee: $100 per swimmer
The registration fee is a yearly one-time charge and is NOT refundable. This fee is charged for each swimmer and covers the swimmer from when they register through the following August. This fee registers the swimmer with USA swimming and provides insurance for each swimmer. With Fall Season and Full Year registrations, this fee includes a Dolphins Team T-Shirt and a latex Dolphins Swim cap.
Alumni
Registration Fee: $100 per swimmer
**NEW** Due to new SAFE SPORT and MAPP (Minor Athlete Abuse Protection Policy) Requirements from USA Swimming, Alumni Swimmers must be register with USA Swimming AND complete Athlete Protection Training (APT) to attend any practices with the team. Another option is to swim with the Masters program in the mornings at the CIA. To attend Masters practices, you must have USMS membership. Click here for Masters info.

TRAINING GROUP DESCRIPTIONS:
Intro to Dolphins:
Registration Fee: $100 (as described above)
Training Group Fee Options:

Description:
The "Intro to Dolphins" program is designed to give an introduction to competitive swimming and to bridge the gap between lessons and a competitive swimming environment. Our focus is to teach basic stroke techniques and give a foundation to competitive swimming skills such as racing and lane etiquette.
Coaches will make an assessment after each month to determine if swimmers are ready to move to the Bronze training group. If so, swimmers will have the option of joining the Bronze group at a pro-rated cost.
Commitment level: Low
Attendance Expectation: 2 sessions per week

Bronze:

Description:
The Bronze group is for our beginner and intermediate swimmers (mainly ages up to 12 years old), focused on stroke mechanics and laying the foundation to begin a lifelong sport and advance through the ranks.
Commitment level: Low to Moderate
Attendance Expectation: 2-3 training sessions per week. (3 maximum)
Swim Meet Participation:
ESSL and Team League: Required
USA Swimming: Optional
Pre-requisite: Must be able to complete a 50-yard swim without stopping and swim competently in Freestyle, Backstroke, and Breaststroke and have approval of Head Coach & Training Group Coach
IRON:
Registration Fee: $100 (as described above)
Training Group Fee Options:
1) Full Year (September through July): $1,185

Description:
The Iron Group is for swimmers (mainly ages 11 to 14) to improve technique and endurance with a path to transition over to the Silver and/or Gold training group.
Commitment level: Any
Equipment Needed: Fins along with a Mesh Bag for carrying
Attendance Expectation: Three training sessions per week

STEEL:
Registration Fee: $100 (as described above)

Description:
The Steel Group is for swimmers (mainly ages 13 to18) to improve technique and endurance with a path to transition over to the Gold training group.
Commitment level: Any

Silver:

Description:
The Silver group is for swimmers (mainly ages 11 through 14) to move into a higher level of competition. This group emphasizes high proficiency in stroke mechanics, aerobic endurance, and sprint capacity along with race strategy and introduction to leadership and dedication.
Commitment level: Moderate to High
Equipment Needed:
Fins, Snorkel, Pull Buoy and Paddles are required along with Mesh bag to carry equipment
Attendance Expectation: Minimum 3 sessions per week
Swim Meets Participation:
ESSL and Team League: Required
USA Swimming: Required
Pre-requisite: Expected to be able to swim all strokes competently, ability to complete a 200 IM and to swim consistently at a high intensity and have approval by Head Coach & Training Group Coach
Gold:
Registration Fee: $100 (as described above)
Training Group Fee Options:
1) Full Year (September through July): $1,575
2) Winter Season (September to March): $1,250
3) Spring Season (April through July): $525
Description:
The Gold group is for swimmers (mainly ages 14+) whose primary athletic focus is swimming. This group has an emphasis on team leadership and competition. For older athletes whose primary athletic focus is swimming. This group has an emphasis on team leadership and competition.
Commitment level: High
Equipment Needed:
Fins, Snorkel, Pull Buoy, and Paddles are required along with Mesh bag to carry equipment
Swim Meets Participation:
ESSL and Team League: Required
USA Swimming: Required
Attendance Expectation: 5 training sessions per week
Pre-requisite: Gold Enrollment must be approved by the Head Coach and Training Group Coach
Alumni (ages 19-23):
Registration Fee: $100 per swimmer
Description:
