Below is a list of swim camps offered by colleges and universities in the Rocky Mountain region that may be of interest to our Montana Swimming athletes. 

Utah Swim Camps

This camp features technique instruction, instant video analysis, personalized training, and educational sessions & presentations, which will provide swimmers with the tools to succeed that can be applied to their training and development throughout their careers.

Open to any and all entrants, limited to age 8-18.

Washington State University Swim Camps 2022:

Interested in a summer swim camp? Check out these camps offered by Washington State University.

Start & Turn Camp #1         June 10-12

Suitable for any and all who are in need of that extra, specific help with the fundamentals of starts of turns. We will cover open turns, flip turns, bucket turns, forward starts, backstroke starts, and relay starts.

Technique Camp                   June 12-17

With each day dedicated to a different stroke, this camp centers around learning fundamentals of each stroke and being able to apply newly learned skills to a workout. There will also be classroom session centered around video and technique instruction. Lots of new drills will be taught to athletes in this camp to be able to use in their future swim training. 

Start & Turn Camp #2         June 17-19

Suitable for any and all who are in need of that extra, specific help with the fundamentals of starts of turns. We will cover open turns, flip turns, bucket turns, forward starts, backstroke starts, and relay starts.

Training Camp                      June 19-24

A VERY intense training camp for those who are in the middle of their season and want to continue getting the level of work they need. Along with high-level coaching, technique and instruction from our WSU Coaches (and athletes) these camps will be more intense and more suited to those who hope to swim in college. Classroom sessions on nutrition and what it means to be a college swimmer will be incorporated as well as swimming specific dryland sessions. This camp is geared to give athletes an idea of what it is like to swim in college. 

Covid-19 Guidelines

  •   ALL Overnight campers must be fully vaccinated. This means they have received either one dose of the Johnson & Johnson, or two doses of Pfizer or Moderna.
  •   ALL overnight campers must be 12 & over to stay in the WSU dorms
  •   ALL 11 & under swimmers MUST sign up for the commuter camper option. They are not allowed to stay in the dorms. Commuter campers need to provide their own lodging and transportation. Only lunches are covered in the camp cost for commuters.
