Goldfish 1
Emphasis: This is the beginning level with intro to swimming. The focus will be on motor skills appropriate for swimming, face in the water, blowing bubbles, going underwater, jumping into the pool, back float, and beginning to swim 5-10 feet alone
Goldfish 2
Emphasis: This second level is for children who are already comfortable and confident in and under the water. Children can swim 5-10 feet alone. This level will focus on beginner's freestyle, arm recovery, and intro to backstroke.
Bluefish 1
Description: Children should be able to swim beginner's freestyle 10-15 feet alone with independent breathing. This level will focus on increasing the swim distance to 20 feet, freestyle with rotary breathing, and backstroke.
Bluefish 2
Description: This level is for children who can swim freestyle with rotary breathing 20 feet. Focus will be on increasing distance to 25 feet, backstroke, and introduction to breast stroke.
Pre-team
Description: This level is for swimmers who can swim freestyle and backstroke for 25 feet and has had an introduction to breast stroke. Focus will be on improvement in breast stroke and introduction to butterfly.
