TWA Safe Sport Grievance Procedure
The safety of our USA swimmers is our foremost concern. If you experience or witness actions or events that cause concern to you or make you feel uncomfortable, it is important to speak with someone. Below is outlined how a parent, swimmer, or coach can bring a concern or complaint forward for further review.
If you need any assistance or have questions regarding any of this information, please contact Head Coach, Michael Sever, email@example.com, 401-439-1441
Concern about Bullying, Parent Concerns, Unfair Treatment,
or Code of Conduct Violations
Swimmers, parents, and coaches are encouraged to communicate with each other to resolve any issues. Yet in some circumstances, it may be necessary to file a grievance. Swimmers or parents should contact Michael Sever or Cameo Chamberlain, TWA Safe Sport Coordinator, 407-227-2136 as soon as possible, and within two weeks. This includes concerns related to any Safe Sport category such as: bullying, parent issues, unfair treatment, or violations of the swimmer, parent, or coach code of conduct.
Coach Michael and TWA Safe Sport Coordinator Cameo Chamberlain, will gather as much information regarding the occurrence in a confidential manner as soon as possible. This could include sit-down meetings with all members of the situation, witnesses included. The situation should be resolved within two weeks after receiving the written statement.
