New Wave Swim Team is a coach-operated, athlete-focused, parent-owned non-profit organization. We derive our funds from membership dues, fundraising events, donations and sponsorship. Funds are spent on coaching costs, facility rental, equipment, incentives and social functions. Wave Swimming offers a guided age-group youth program for children age 4 and up, from the beginning swimmer to the most competitive and skilled competitor.

When a young person becomes a member of the New Wave Swim Team he/she learns the values of sportsmanship and team work. Swimming, through New Wave, provides physical, emotional and intellectual skills that will last a lifetime.
The New Wave Swim Team (WAVE) is committed to teaching life skills and developing character, while providing the total WAVE experience for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Swimming is a life-long and life-saving skill and New Wave offers a healthy environment in which young athletes can develop into responsible individuals.

As with all organizations, our team can be successful only if everyone is an active member and participates in all activities. We expect families to volunteer their time, energy and talents on behalf of the team. This will help fees to be kept to a minimum and enhance the learning experience for the children and their families.

Our training philosophy is designed to have children reach their potential in their high school and college years. We feel it is important to lay a foundation with our younger swimmers based on great technique, skills, habits and all-around athleticism that can be built upon through their developmental years.
