Doing a tryout is the first step in joining the team. This is a chance for the coach to see if the prospective swimmer is actually ready for swim team, and if so which level they will start at.
Tryouts for the swim team are done in the form of a drop in practice. All interested swimmers must pass a tryout before registering with the swim team. Please contact Coach James Lew email@example.com to schedule a tryout.
*Please note that not everyone who tries out makes the team. Crimson Aquatics has an open door policy and anyone not ready is encouraged to take any needed lessons and come back again for the next try out.
Athlete placement into a training group is based on their age and ability. The coaches are the only ones qualified to make that determination.
Please note that Crimson Aquatics is a competitive swim team, and that practice and meet attendance is expected.
If you have questions regarding the Swim Team, contact Coach Coach James Lew firstname.lastname@example.org he will be happy to answer your questions.
