2021 Spring USA Swimming Long Course and AAU Swimming

April 12 – July 28, 2021

 

Sailfish USA 1

For swimmers 12 & under who practice in a Sailfish practice but want to participate in USA meets.  USA registration fee ($80) and USA meet fees and coaching fees required ** USA meets are limited due to safety guidelines

Sailfish USA 2

  1. For swimmers 11 & older who have been doing USA swimming and will practice 3x/week
  2. Swimmers must be able to do 5 x 100 free on 1:45 and do a legal 200 IM to participate in this practice
  3. Practices:  Mon/Wed 5:30-6:30pm or Sun/Thur 5:15-6:15pm and Friday 3:30-5pm

Sailfish USA Senior B

  1. This program is for swimmers aged 12-14 who have been doing USA swimming and will practice 3x/week
  2. Swimmers must be able to do 5 x 100 free on 1:30 and do 3x200 IM on 3:45 to participate in this practice
  3. Practices:  Mon/Wed 6:30-8pm OR Tue/Thur 6:30-8pm and Fridays 3:30-5pm

Sailfish USA Senior A

  1.  This program is for swimmers age 13 and older who have been doing USA swimming
  2. Swimmers must be able to do 10 x 100 free on 1:20 and 3x200IM on 3:30 to participate in this practice
  3. Practices:  Mon/Wed 6:30-8pm OR Tues/Thur 6:30-8pm and Fri 5-6:30pm

 

Payment is required to hold your spot                    

All fees are non-refundable

              Practice times are subject to change especially over vacation weeks

Please note that practice size will be limited due to facility restrictions and safety protocol from the state and CDC.  Our goal is to keep swimmers, coaches, and families safe by following recommended guidelines.

* REQUIREMENTS for USA swimmers:   

TYR crossblade or sporti training Fins, pullbouy, kickboard, 12 & older swimmers need finis agility paddles and a drag suit (footless tights during the month before a championship season too)

*Space is limited in these practices and these practices require coach approval

**Please note that USA long course meets will be limited due to safety guidelines

*Individual USA meet entry, event and coaches fees are paid for each meet signed up for

*USA meets must be signed up for well in advance and if you commit to a meet you are responsible for the meet fees     even if you do not participate in the meet due to a change in your schedule.

AAU registration for those interested in AAU meets which run Jan-Aug (registration year is Sept 1-Aug 31)

 

2020/2021 Sailfish USA Swimming Short Course Season
Session 1 September 8 to December 31, 2020

Session 2 January 2 to April 1, 2021

Sailfish USA 1

  1. This program is for new to USA swimmers and 10 & under swimmers who have been doing USA
  2. Swimmers will practice with their age group and pay the USA registration fee. ** Please note that USA meets are limited through Jan 1 due to safety guidelines.

Sailfish USA 2

  1. This program is for 11 & older swimmers who have been doing USA swimming and will practice 3x/week
  2. Swimmers must be able to do 5 x 100 free on 1:45 and do a legal 200 IM to participate in this practice
  3. Practices:  Mon/Wed 5:30-6:30 or Sun/Thur 6:30-8:00pm; and Fri 5-6:30pm

  5. All USA swimmers must have their own equipment for each practice- short training fins, pullbuoy, kickboard and 12 & older swimmers must also have Finis agility paddles- click on the button on home page to order.
  6. Due to safety concerns and facility restrictions we will not be having drylands this season.

**Space is limited and filled on a first come first serve basis.  Payment is required to hold your spot.  Current and past Sailfish swimmers have first opportunity to sign up.**
