The athletics wing at Liverpool High School has now completed its massive renovations. However, due to the current COVID climate, the Liverpool CSD is continuing to work through how to safely allow outside groups the ability to use their facilities. Until an agreement can be made, the Liverpool Jets will not be able to facilitate our popular summer swim lesson program at that site this summer. If we are able to secure another facility for use, information will be posted on this website. With a very limited selection of pools in the area, this task continues to provide a massive challenge. Regretfully, we may have to go another summer without hosting a swim lesson program. Once again - if information becomes available, it will be posted here first...so there is no need to send an email request for information.
PRE-COVID INFORMATION FOR YOUR AWARENESS
JETS Pre-Competitive Swim Camps
Competitive swimming is a popular activity with a long list of positive benefits. It is a healthy, clean sport that builds self-confidence. Swimming also promotes positive interaction among teammates and friends. On top of all this, swimming is FUN!
The Liverpool Jets Pre-Competitive Swim Camp is a multifaceted program designed to introduce children to the sport of competitive swimming. Participants receive expert instruction in each of the four competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly), racing starts and turns. Participants will also learn basic pool safety as well as useful nutrition information.
Our swim camps are designed for swimmers between the ages of 6 and 14. The camp will help bridge the gap between lessons and our swim team. To get the most out of our swim camp, swimmers should have passed level 4 in swim lessons OR can swim 25 yards freestyle.

Summer 2021 Dates: TBD
The JETS are also happy to assist with several initiatives run by the Liverpool School District's scholastic coaches that increase awareness of aquatic activities. These have included swim clinics for elementary schools and fun nights at the pool for 6th grade moving up parties. This also coincides with USA Swimming's "Swim Today" campaign. Both of these target the fun you can have while being safe in the water. So whether its a cannonball off the diving board or a race across a pool with some friends, find a way to get wet!
