For our Black A group, athletes are expected but not limited to: proficiency in all four strokes, ability to demonstrate proper streamlines/break outs/flip turns for all four strokes, knowledge of interval training using the time clock, and willingness to attend practice at least 3 times a week. By providing a clear understanding of the requirements for the Black A group, we hope to make it as easy as possible for both athlete and parent to excel within our training program.
*Each training group has specific attendance requirements appropriate for the objectives of that group. As a general rule, the least possible interruption in the training schedule will produce the greatest amount of success.
*Plan to stay the entire practice. The last part of practice is very often the most important. Usually, there are also announcements made at the end of each practice.
