Swim Team 2017-18 Practice Schedule

Level 6

Workout days and times:

M, T, W, TH, F  4:30-6:30 P.M.

Dryland Workout M, T, W, TH from 3:45-4:30 P.M. or 6:30-7:15 P.M. 

 Dryland is mandatory for Level 6 as this is our National Team level.

Saturday as scheduled per Coach.

Level 6 practices in the Wendel Pool

Dates subject to change due to "unforeseen circumstances."

 

Training is geared toward YMCA National competition and beyond. The training emphasis

for this group is high levels of endurance, strength and speed conditioning with technique

refinement. The swimmers will work on training longer distances, IM work, interval training

and aerobic base development. A mandatory dryland program is utilized to enhance core

muscles for maximum performance and injury prevention. This group is only for athletes

committed to reaching their full swimming potential. Year-round training and mandatory 4

practices per week is required.
