2020-21 Past Season and Awards
Our 2020-21 swimming results are at the highest level of NAAC to date...!
- 118 New Team records across groups
- 3rd Overall Ohio Virtual Winter Champs – Large Team division (all age groups combined)
- NAHS Girls State HS Team Champs (all scorers NAAC Swimmers)
- 2nd Ohio Virtual Winter Champs – SR division
- 6th place overall finish at Winter NCSA’s (usually top 40 +/-)
- 3rd place overall finish at both Summer Sectionals and Futures (usually top 15 Sectionals, no Futures reference point)
- 2 Olympic Trials Qualifiers, Martina Peroni in Wave 1 200 Fly, and Spencer Aurnou-Rhees qualifying for both Wave 1 and Wave 2 in 200IM
- Spencer named to USA Jr. National Team Summer 2021
- Martina selected for the USA Swimming Girls National Select Camp Fall 2021
- 3rd Ohio Virtual Winter Champs – JO division

CURRENT Meet Schedule
Developmental, Important, and Critical Meets
Some meets are not intended for every swimmer – 14 & under, Qualifying Meets - Lead Coach ref.
Entries – log in to declare days or sessions & PLEASE use “Notes” – Group Meetings more details/group. Meet Invites through email, with reminders, time allowing
NO LATE ENTRIES Parents suggest events, Coaches select events
Billed through Team Unify Be on time, stay through relays
Team caps & Team swim suits Scratching an event is not permitted
Coaches at meets 24 hour no-contact rule
Tech suits only at Championship Meets (NAAC), NO 12&U tech suits allowed as of Sept 2020
4 "official" planned HOME meets as of Sept 2021 – Fall (Oct) and Spring (May) IMX, Penguin Plunge in Dec and Valentine Splash in Feb

*To be eligible for RELAY swims at the JO Meet(s), a swimmer must compete at the Regional Meet unless they have 5 or more Individual Event cuts prior to the Regional Meet. Regional Meets are Championship Meets (Winter AND Summer), not just JO qualifying attempts.*
We want all of our eligible swimmers competing at their highest level meets!!
AG Dryland is scheduled to begin Sat Sept 18 BUT that date may be moved further out due to courtyard construction. Top 2 SR groups began lifting Sept 8
Dryland in the weight room OR outdoors, dress appropriately, appropriate footwear
John C will Coach most SR Lifting & Dryland sessions, AG Dryland Coached by Jodi Sagle
Generally good athletes are more likely to become specifically great swimmers, Durability = no injuries
The higher the level of group, the more integral dryland training becomes to durability AND performance

We are a Speedo team, Team & Championship suits will be Speedo suits
SwimVille USA is our Speedo Team Outfitter (837 Bethel Rd), JC Manny our Team Apparel provider

Athlete drop off and pick up @ Fodor Rd side of pool - Exiting the pool and/or Dryland areas, also see Protocols as some proceedures may change over the course of the season.
