Q: What is the swim team and why would I want my child to participate?
A: Our team is a year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor.
All of our coaches, as members of the American Swimming Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time.
We are a non profit club run by an elected Board of Directors which meets each month. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraisers. It’s fun. It’s great exercise. It builds confidence. It’s a great way for your child to meet other kids in the neighborhood. It’s a great way for you to meet other parents.
Q: What swimming strokes does my child need to know to join the team?

Q: I just want my child to learn how to swim better. Do they have to swim in competition?
A: While competition is encouraged, it is not mandatory. As coaches, we like to use competition as a way to evaluate a swimmer’s progress using many different criteria, not just technique. Additionally, most swimmers find competitions fun, motivating, and a great way to make new friends!

A: The flat fee of $237.50 is not prorated. No discounts of any kind (including multiple swimmer) will be applied to the flat fee. Previous USA swim memberships are not deducted from this fee.
