Marlins Making News 

The Marlins are proud of our swimmers both in and out of the pool.  Please let us know of any accomplishments we may have missed.

Congratulations to Natalie Gockerman for setting a team record in the 800 free at Zones!  Her time of 9:31.56 broke the standing record by almost 15 seconds! Natalie also is the 11-12 girls zone champion in the 200 freestyle, 400 freestyle and the 1500 freestyle!

Congratulations to Scott Sobolewski and Justin Grender for setting new team records at the 2018 LC Sectional meet!   Scott's record breaking swim in the 100 breast, 1:04.33, crowned him event winner!  Justin swam a 23.18 in the 50 free and captured second place.  Other event winners were Aaron Taske, who won the 100 and 200 fly events as well as Justin winning the 200 free event.   Many Marlins placed second in events: Justin Grender - 100 back, Aaron Sequeira - 200 back, Kellan Roddy - 1500 freestyle, Scott Sobolewski - 50 breast and  Alex Wade,  Aaron Sequeira, Aaron Taske, Justin Grender, Nick Czepukaitis, Sam Fallon and Scott Sobolewski combined for second place finishes in the 400 fr, 800 fr and 400 medley relays! Congratulations to all our sectional swimmers for a great meet!
