The Sharks have 4 Practice Groups.  Minimum time standards, training capacity and coaches approval must be met to join the sharks and move to a new practice group.

Group Descriptions

Senior Elite

  •     Training Capacity: 20x100 free @ 1:10, 5x200 kick @ 3:00, under 1:00 in 100    push free sprint
  •     Attendance: 100% attendance standard, must commit to the entire program
  •     Competitive Level: Sectionals minimum, should be striving towards Junior Nationals

 

Senior

  •     Training Capacity: 20x100 free @ 1:15, 10x100 free @ 1:10, 5x200 kick @ 3:05, Close to mastery of all 4 strokes, under 1:02 push free sprint
  •     Attendance: 90% attendance required
  •     Competitive Level: Sectionals level or close, Under 2:05 in 200 free, Under 57 in 100 free

 

Pre Senior

  •     Training Capacity: 20x100 free @ 1:20, 10X100 free @ 1:15, 5x200 kick @ 3:15, Stable to train in all 4 strokes, under 1:05 push free          sprint
  •     Attendance: Attendance is always important, but more flexibility 
  •     Competitive Level: Variable depending on age, Under 2:10 in 200 free, Under 1:00 in 100 free

 

Age Group Elite

  •     Training Capacity: 20x50 free @ 50, 12x50 K @55, Legal in all 4        strokes
  •     Attendance: Attendance is always important, but more flexibility
  •     Competitive Level: Under 33 seconds in 50 free, JO’s or close.
