Lesson Program Details

Location: John Muir Middle School (1260 Branham Lane, San Jose, CA 95118)

Session Duration: One session consists of four (4) lessons held Monday-Thursday or four (4) consecutive Saturdays

Lesson Duration: 30 minutes

Student to Instructor Ratio: Groups 5:1

Pricing per session: Group $70; Private $200

QuickSilver Swimming Learn to Swim Program

The QuickSilver Learn-to-Swim Program is unlike anything offered by other learn to swim programs. The program is designed for children all the way up to adults, and students progress through the levels at their own pace, mastering the skills in one level before advancing to the next. Each level of our Learn-to-Swim classes includes training in basic water safety and incorporates cutting edge stroke development progressions.


  • Level 1: Water Acclimation 
  • Level 2: Basic Skills of Floating 
  • Level 3: Body Line and Kicking 
  • Level 4: Porpoising and Breathing Regulation 
  • Level 5: Side Breathing and Freestyle Arm Stroke 
  • Level 6: Freestyle Swimming 
  • Level 7: Backstroke Fundamentals 

Quicksilver Stoke School 

  • Level 8 Breaststroke and Fundamentals of Diving 
  • Level 9 Butterfly and Fundamentals of Turns 
  • Level 10 Putting it all Together 

Parent and Baby Aquatics 

Helps develop swimming readiness by leading parents and their children in water exploration activities with the objective of having fun and becoming comfortable in, on and around the water. Helps develop swimming readiness by leading parents and their children in water exploration activities with the objective of having fun and becoming comfortable in, on and around the water. Prerequisites: No skill prerequisites, Child must be at least 6 months old to enroll, Parent or another caregiver must accompany each child into the water and participate in each class.

Advanced Stroke School 

Has your child mastered level one through seven? We offer an advanced swim school that offers three additional levels of breaststroke, butterfly, dives and turns. Students will be able to swim longer distances and learn skills that will keep them fit for a lifetime. This swim school uses a fantastic skills progression  to teach kids to learn the most advanced strokes and builds their confidence to be safe in any aquatic environment.  

Youth Private Lessons

Does your child learn better in a one on one setting? We enjoy accommodating students that would like a smaller setting for an aquatic learning environment. The private lesson uses the same outline as other groups environment, but the instructor can mold the lesson to suit the students needs. 

Adult Group Classes

Never had the chance to learn to swim? Have you always wanted to learn all four competitive swim strokes? Look no further as our adult lesson program target all levels-from fearful non-swimmers, to those who wish to learn all four competitive strokes.

Adult Private Lessons

Adult private lessons are a great way to learn the strokes and get a little more one on one swimming focus. These are for all levels and use a proven skill program that will help the most novice to the most advanced swimmer.
