Can I register before trying out? Yes, your registration saves your spot on the team. If you are a new member, you still need to come to the tryout to assess in which group your child will swim.
My swimmer swam all last year, do I still need to try out? If your are certain which group your swimmer belongs in you do not need to try out, but you still need to register for the 2018 -2019 swim year.
I just registered, now what? Please come to any of our try-out dates (see days and times on the top of this page) and when your child is placed in the correct group, your registration will be processed and you will receive access to your online account, and get all relevant team emails.
Can I choose in which group my child swims? For Stroke Development, you can choose which location (Simpkins or Watsonville) and which days to swim. At Simpkins you choose MWF or TTh, in Watsonville you choose any three days from MTWTh.
The times are determined by your childs skill level, as assessed by the coach, and which group they will be placed in (Beginning, Intermediate or Advanced.) Please see our schedules here.
My swimmer wants to swim more than 2 or 3 days per week, what can I do? Please talk to your coach about joining the competitive team. We have beginning levels for competitive swimmers who are eager to swim more.
When do you swim and how much does it cost? You can read more about our stroke development groups and fees here.
