SwimFit and MiniFit

Swimmers must complete a placement evaluation in order to enroll in a class. Please contact the coaching staff to schedule a placement:

SwimFit Program

The SwimFit program combines swimming endurance, stroke technique and a fun group environment to ensure that all participants make big swimming improvements in a fun group atmosphere! Swimmers will develop the four competitive strokes, starts and turns while improving their endurance through drills and kick work. Everyone will leave feeling like they got a good workout and are part of a swim team. At the completion of each session, the swimmers will have the opportunity to compete in a practice meet, which will provide a positive environment to dive from the starting blocks, practice racing and show off newly learned skills.

Class Schedule

Practice: 6 - 6:45 PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday

Classes run four times per week in a "Drop In" format which means that swimmers can attend up to four sessions per week but are not required to attend every session. This allows flexibility to schedule around other activities and commitments.

MiniFit Program

MiniFit teaches the basic foundations for proper competitive swimming strokes while giving swimmers an introduction to practicing in a group environment. Coaches give specific technique feedback and work on stroke improvements as well as swimming strength. Swimmers can attend class once or twice per week with the following class options.

Class Schedule

MiniFit #1:
Practice: Tuesdays 4 - 4:30 PM
MiniFit #2:
Practice: Thursdays 5:30 - 6 PM

USA Swimming Registration

Swimmers in the SwimFit and MiniFit programs will be registered through USA Swimming as Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics (PASA). Families are required to complete the registration form and submit a $85 annual fee to cover the expense. USA Swimming registration is completed annually at the beginning of the swim season (September) or is due during the first registration period if the swimmer joins after September.
