Financial Assistance Program

Lynne Vagt Memorial Financial Assistance Program

Lynne Vagt Memorial Financial Assistance Application

BBST is committed to supporting families who need financial assistance with dues. 100% of funds for the Financial Assistance Program comes from the generous donations of current families on BBST. If you are interested in donating to the financial assistance fund, please contact BBST Team Administrator at [email protected]

Families who receive assistance are required to abide by the following expectations:

  • Provide true and complete information to the Scholarship Committee
  • Provide all necessary documentation to the Scholarship Committee
  • Maintain minimum weekly practice attendance requirements
  • Attend all BBST hosted swim meets
  • Actively fulfill Work Share hour commitment, including working one session at all BBST hosted meets
  • Actively participating in all BBST fundraising activities, including meeting the swim-a-thon requirement of $250 per swimmer
  • Pay BBST account in full by the 10th of each month; failure to do so will result in termination of assistance
  • Uphold the BBST Parent and Swimmer Code of Conduct; financial assistance is subject to termination following any second offense of BBST's Code of Conduct by either swimmer or parent
  • Communicate any change in family income to the Scholarship Committee immediately
  • Failure to meet these expectations may be ground for the BBST Board of Directors to terminate financial assistance
NOTE: Financial assistance will not be used to cover meet entry fees, team travel trips, equipment/food purchases, private lessons, clinics, USA swimming registration fees, BBST Admin Fees, late fees or other expenses besides monthly dues
NOTE: The BBST Board of Directors (or it’s designees) may periodically review the needs of financial assistance recipents and elect to terminate or change assistance amounts and duration for any reason (team finances, team size, new swimmers, etc) and at any time without prior notification
