MASTERS SWIMMING is for Everyone!

Burlingame Aquatic Club’s Masters Swimming Program is structured to provide consistent and quality training to adult athletes of all levels.  Our membership consists of a wide variety of athletes, including tri-athletes, beginning swimmers, former Olympians and collegiate champions, as well as adults simply looking for a great way to stay in shape and meet other people with similar goals.

We currently offer fifteen different workouts throughout any given week, making it very easy to find a regular workout routine that fits your own personal schedule.  Each workout is run by an experienced coach who can offer whatever level of coaching feedback you desire.  Practices are designed to provide a substantial aerobic workout while simultaneously creating an environment conducive to improving stroke technique and efficiency.  We are one of the few bay area programs with access to long course training, an element that gives us an extra edge in training variety and opportunity. 

BAC has a strong team atmosphere with members who support and inspire each other to achieve daily success.  Many BAC swimmers join together to participate in different events throughout the local area as well as in other states, forming teams for open water swims and similar competitions.  The social aspect of the program adds a layer of friendliness and encouragement for all participants, as it builds an effective blend of support for any athlete.  On a daily basis you can visit the pool and see the Masters team competing and encouraging each other, smilingly racing and pushing themselves.

Whether you're racing for personal best times or national records, training for your first or fiftieth triathlon, or simply out to enjoy the pursuit of sport and fitness, BAC has a lane for everyone.  Come down to the pool and get started!

Getting Started!

BAC Masters is a program that welcomes all levels of skill and experience, and we’re happy to have the chance to offer you a high quality training environment for whatever your personal goals may be.

Quarterly Commitments:

As a BAC Masters swimmer you have two registration options – registering as either a quarterly member or a drop-in member. As a quarterly member, you pay one flat fee for the full session and all workouts are open to you. As a drop-in member you pay each time you attend a workout. We encourage people to register as quarterly members if they plan to attend at least a couple of workouts per week.

Drop In Memberships:

In order to make it easier and more convenient to be a drop-in member, BAC sells 10-swim memberships for swimmers that come less frequently or at random schedules. You may also simply pay a one-day drop-in fee at the front desk for low commitment.

Registrations & Memberships

Club Registration:

All BAC Masters swimmers must be registered, regardless of whether they are a quarterly or drop-in participant. Click HERE for REGISTRATION INFORMATION.

US Masters Swimming Memberships:

All BAC Masters swimmers must be current members of US Masters Swimming (USMS) prior to participating in any masters workout. Proof of membership must be demonstrated before you are allowed to train. If you are attending your first workout with BAC, please be prepared to show the on-deck coach your membership card. Note that USMS memberships are done on an annual basis, therefore memberships must be renewed and demonstrated at the start of every calendar year.
