Lisa swam competitively and played water polo at Enid High School in Oklahoma. She graduated from UCA in 1999 with a BBA in Marketing, but once she had children, she pursued a different career path and has been a Personal Fitness Trainer at LRAFB since 2009.
Lisa's husband, John, is the official Waves announcer. Lisa has two beautiful children, JT & Sydney. The family attends First Assembly of God in North Little Rock and enjoys hiking, mountain biking, adventure races and traveling.
Delaney is a rising senior at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. She has been swimming for 15 years, starting summer league when she was five and her club career when she was nine. She has earned multiple state championship titles in age groups, high school and club swimming and has continued her swimming career into college. Delaney swims IM, backstroke and breaststroke for her team. This is Delaney's third year to coach for the Waves.
Emily Marlin is 20 and just finished her junior year at UCA. She began swimming for the Waves since 2009. She was given the team’s Tom Elliot sportsmanship award, once in 2014 and again in 2016. She has been instructed by a number of amazing coaches throughout the years, and is so thankful for all the people who took her love of the water and grew it into a love for a sport.
For two years in high school, Emily swam for the Rock City Swim Club under Coach Adam Nelson, but the Lakewood Waves will always be her summer love. For several years, she has helped with the younger age groups and loves working with the kids, watching them improve their technique and swim faster. She really enjoys getting to know them on a personal level and cheering for them at meets. When she is not at the pool, Emily loves to read, sing, and laugh with her family.
Peyton will attend North Little Rock High school this year, entering the twelfth grade. He started swimming with Shark ATAC swim team at the age of six. His favorite strokes are freestyle and backstroke. He swims for NLRHS.
