Welcome to the Volunteers Page! Parent Volunteers are an essential part of our swim meets as we could not run a meet without our many volunteers.  Did you know that a Home Swim Meet require 85 volunteers? We NEED YOU! It's also a great way to get to know your neighbors and the kids on the team.

Requirements:

Each family is required to work five half-meets (including the mock meet).  Our volunteer coordinator will track each family.  You may be asked to work more or less depending on the team’s needs but remember we want to be fair to everyone! There will be a $50 fee per half meet applied to your account if you do not volunteer. If a family does not fulfill their volunteer requirements they will not be allowed to register for swim team the following season. A summer swim team cannot exist without volunteers and that is why volunteering is necessary. 

Each of the volunteer positions are explained in detail below.  Several positions are marked “trained position”.  The only requirement to sign up for these positions is that you have worked that position before or you have shadowed an experienced person in that position.  We would love to get as many people trained to work those positions as possible so if you are not working a meet, you may want to check out some of the other volunteer jobs!

Job Sign Ups

Signing up for volunteer positions is easier than ever.  Sign into pbswimteam.net and Click on the Events Tab at the top of the page.  Find the Meet you want to sign up for, and Click the Job Sign Up Button.  If a job is available, there will be a blank next to it.  Click on the job you want, type your name, and Click Submit/Sign Up.

If you have any questions or have not been able to sign up for a job, please contact our coordinator prior to or at a meet, and she will be happy to work you into a needed position.
