Louisville Rec Center Off Season Stroke Clinic Class Descriptions
6-9yr olds
Stroke clinics are structured for swimmers currently on a swim team or interested in joining a swim team. The focus of the clinics is stroke technique as well as conditioning. Swimmers will be working on all swim strokes, turns, and dives off the starting blocks. All swimmers must be able to swim 50 meters of continuous Freestyle demonstrating proper side breathing and 25 meters of Backstroke additionally Breast and Butterfly kick skills are needed. Swim fins are required.
8-10yr olds
Stroke clinics are structured for swimmers currently on a swim team or interested in joining a swim team. The focus of the clinics is stroke technique as well as conditioning. Swimmers will be working on all swim strokes, turns, and dives off the starting blocks.
