Summer 2021 Coaches:
Head Coach Grace
By the start of the summer swim team season, Grace will have completed her third year at James Madison University. She had been a Blue Fin since she was nine years old in 2009. Grace was an assistant coach for the Blue Fins for two years, and prior to that was a Junior Coach for the Blue Fins for four years. She swam on the South County Varsity Swim and Dive Team for two years. Grace currently swims for the club team at James Madison University. Grace is most looking forward to building relationships with all the kids in the pool and outside of the pool! The Blue Fins are excited to have Grace serve as the Head Coach this summer!
Assistant Coach Jack
Hello Blue Fins! My name is Jack. I swam on the Blue Fins for twelve years and was a junior coach for several years. I also swam on the South County High School Swim and Dive team for four years. I currently attend George Mason University. Some of my hobbies include reading, making music, and of course, swimming. I look forward to seeing everyone again this summer!
Assistant Coach Skye
Skye has been on the Barrington Blue Fins for the past eleven years and is excited to be an Assistant Coach. She has been a year-round swimmer for the Nation's Capitol Swim Team since she was six years old. She has also been on the South County High School Swim and Dive Team for the past three years. Skye will be a rising senior at South County High School. Skye is looking forward to meeting all the new swimmers as well as seeing some familiar faces again.
The Coaches Expect This:
- Be a team player and show respect to your fellow swimmers and coaches.
- Attend Wednesday and Saturday (home) meets and every team event, regardless if you are swimming or not.
- Stay until the end of every meet and support your team-mates who are still participating.
- Cheering and team spirit is important. We want everyone to have a fun summer swim season!
