Colonial Swim League

Colonial Swim League:

The Barrington Blue Fins Swim Team is a member of the Colonial Swim League (CSL).  Created in 1962, the CSL has over twenty area swim teams grouped in four different divisions:  Red, White, Blue and Gold.

Barrington is in the GOLD Division.

The CSL teams are re-seeded annually based on a number of factors, including last year's record, number of "All Stars" on the team, performances at the All Star Meet (last event of the season), and a computer generated "Time in Water" evaluation of what were the best times from the previous summer season.

The CSL operates under USA Swimming, which is the national governing body for the sport of swimming in the United States.
