Franklin Glen Gators "GATORAIDE" Application

Are you a Franklin Glen Gator? Do you demonstrate exemplary behavior? Are you legal in all four swim strokes? Do you enjoy working with children? Are you comfortable in the water when it is cold or warm? You may be a candidate for a "Gatoraide" position this summer!

Daily tasks include ensuring the safety of all swimmers and teaching younger kids swimming skills in conjunction with the coaches during after school and summer morning practices. You will be expected to attend your own practices, teach the kids in the water and care for their safety. At meets, you will be expected to support the team in a variety of tasks such as assisting in the team area & clerk of course, tracking DQ's and being "in suit" on deck during younger kids events and of course cheering for your teammates!

Work schedules are flexible, but must be agreed upon with the Head Coach before the season starts. All qualified applicants must be at least fifteen years of age or have completed the ninth grade by June 2024, as well as legal in all strokes.

There will be no interview for Gatoraide positions.  If you are selected to be a Gatoraide, you will be required to attend a mandatory meeting with the Head Coach and Swim Team Board President (date TBD).
