Summer Junior Tennis Camp

The  Fairview Summer Junior Tennis Camp is open to all Fairview members. The nine-week program begins Monday, June 11, 2018 and runs through August 11. Camp is held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, with individual clinic sessions beginning at 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00.

The junior player can take 1, 2, or 3 hours of clinic per day. Each hour, players are divided into small groups of players of similar age and ability. Each small group has its own instructor.

The flexibility of our tennis program allows children that want to participate in both swim team and Junior Tennis Camp to do so. These children plan a time to play tennis around their swim team schedule. Once on the courts, the coaching staff separates players according to age and ability level.

High School and tournament players are encouraged to participate in the Fairview Junior Tennis Camp.

Non-Member Junior Tennis

Two 2-week junior tennis clinics are held each summer at the Fairview Tennis courts. For the 2018 season, non-members may participate in junior tennis during the first 2 weeks of the season and the last 2 weeks of the season. The cost for the non-member clinic is $60 per week for one hour of play per day.

Social Events

Special events also take place as part of the Junior Tennis Camp, including: the Parent-Child July Fourth Friendly Tournament, Melted Kit Kat Day, Friday popsicles, and a pizza party. Dates for the 2018 season will be added to the club calendar as soon as they are finalized.

Tennis Team

The Fairview Tennis Team participates in the Jefferson League. All junior clinic players are eligible and encouraged to join the Fairview Junior Tennis Team once deemed ready by the coaching staff. Players as young as seven years of age have competed in matches.

Tennis matches are held on Thursdays from 1:00 - 3:00 PM, at Fairview and other local clubs in the Jefferson League. Participation is foremost, and competition is low key. There is no additional charge for clinic members to join the team.
