Team Policies

At the beginning of each season all athletes are given  a copy of the team policies, code of conduct, program rules and regulations and lettering requirements.

Personal

  • Be a positive role model in and out of the pool

  • Family, church and academics are your first priorities

  • work hard everyday in everything you do

  • Be a good communicator and talk to your coach

  • Have Fun!

Practice

  • Be on time

  • Maintain a positive mental attitude

  • Do not stop in the middle of the lane while practicing for any reason other than drowning or medical complications

  • Discuss any problems with the coaches or the captains

  • Respect school and other people's property

  • Always treat your teammates, coaches, officials and other teams with respect

  • NO DIVING INTO SHALLOW WATER

Meets

  • Support your teammates

  • Be on time

  • Everyone will ride the bus to and from away meets(unless they have a written note from a parent/guardian and coaches approval)

  • Everyone sets up and takes down for home meets

  • Absolutely NO jewelry of any kind during the meets

  • Healthy eating before and during the meets

  • Be with the team at all times; no athlete sitting in the spectator stands

  • Be a good sport whether you win or lose
