The Blaine High School Swim and Dive Booster Club is in the process of planning our 30th Annual Arts and Craft Show, and we invite you to participate.
Registration opens July 19, 2021. This is our club’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Our rate is $70.00 for a 10’ x 10’ space (there is a $20 discount for 2 adjoining spaces). Registration fees are non-refundable and spaces will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Due to construction at BHS, we are unable to guarantee returning crafters their space from 2019, but we will try our best.
Crafters provide their own setup and display equipment. Electrical outlets are limited and will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. We do have tables for a $10.00 fee. One chair per space will be provided at no charge. Remember, spaces are limited.
Set up times will be Friday, October 22nd, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm; and Saturday, October 23rd 6:00 am to 8:30 am. All crafters need to be ready by 8:45 am on the 23rd. The doors will be opened at 9:00 am sharp. All crafters must remain open for business until 3:00 pm when the doors will close.
Our swimmers, divers, and parents will be available to help you unload and reload your vehicles. There are a limited number of spaces in the loading dock area, and we have vehicles move into & out of the available spaces as quickly as possible (not all spaces accommodate cars w/trailers, so sometimes a car will be sent to the loading area ahead of the next vehicle). You may have a significant wait in line for vehicle unloading, please be patient.
We allow a portion of the spaces for non-handcrafted, resale, or home-based business items. We reserve the right to deny applications and to limit the number of similar types of vendors to preserve a good balance of craft mix. Please be very specific when you answer the “Type of Craft” question on your application in order to help us place vendors in appropriate locations. We do try to place similar types of crafts well distanced from each other.
The state of Minnesota requires a MN Sales Tax ID number in order to sell items at a craft show. We are required by state law to obtain and have on file copies of the Operators Certificate of Compliance (form ST-19) during the show. Please fill out the attached application and the ST-19 form and return it with your application and entry fee to the address
below. If you do not have a MN Tax ID #, call 651-296-6181 to request an application. Please include a photocopy of the application in case you haven’t received your ID# by the craft show.
You will receive a registration confirmation, “day-of” information sheet, and directions to Blaine High School after the priority registration deadline, by email, if you have an email address, otherwise by mail. The exact location of your assigned space will be provided when you check in.
There will be refreshments sold throughout the day for your convenience. A lunch order form will be provided. If you choose to purchase lunch, it will be delivered to you at the time indicated on the order form.
