McCallie Roster

Each year the Swim and Dive Team participates in an overnight trip to the McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee for an invitational meet. The meet is the weekend before the week of Thanksgiving; please consider any out of town plans when deciding whether to accept the meet invitation.  Payments, once made, are non-refundable.

The coaches will invite 15 female and 15 male swimmers (with 10 alternates) to participate in this meet based on their time, team needs, and their seniority (preference given to Senior and Juniors), and will also invite a select number of divers to participate in this meet.

- Participating athletes (and parent chaperones) will depart for Chattanooga after lunch the Friday before Thanksgiving via chartered buses.

- The divers will compete Friday evening, and will return to Lakeside after lunch and swim prelims on Saturday.

- The swimmers will compete in prelims Saturday morning. Swimmers who don't qualify for finals will return to Lakeside on the first departing bus with the divers.

- Qualifying swimmers will compete in finals Saturday evening, and will return to Lakeside late Saturday night.

- The cost of the McCallie trip for 2019 is $195.  This fee covers the cost of transportation, hotel lodging, and meals. Fee is non-refundable.

- To register and pay for McCalle, go to the schedule tab on our website (www.lhsfinclub.org).  When you scroll down to Nov 22, McCallie Invitational, you’ll find the registration button.  Fees due ASAP - no later than 10/27/19.

- If an athlete is invited to participate in the McCallie trip but is unable to do so, please notify the coach ASAP (by Sunday Oct. 27th please!) so that another swimmer can be invited. If the fee is not paid by the deadline, another athlete will be offered the available slot.

All athletes are representing their school on this trip, and are expected to display behavior appropriate to this role. No misconduct will be tolerated. In the past, participants have represented the school well and many seniors from previous teams have named the McCallie trip as their best swim team memory — a great team bonding event!
