GIRLS SWIM & DIVE DONATIONS
Outside of the salary for the head coach, MVHS athletic programs are not funded by the school or district. We rely on donations and fundraising to operate our program. Donations can be made via check payable to MVHS Girls Swim & Dive. The requested donation varies based on the cost of running the program and the number of girls on the team. The donation request amount will be determined in January 2019. Donations are not required to be a part of this or any MVHS team. Thank you for your donation!
DISTRICT TRANSPORTATION DONATION
SVUSD requests a $75 per athlete per sport to help cover the cost of transportation. Donations are not required to be a member of this or any MVHS team. Checks are payable to SVUSD. Please note your athlete's name and girls swim & dive on the memo line of your check. Thank you for your donation!
Below are some strength training practices you can do on your own. Be sure to always warm-up before and warm-down after strength training. Please remember to use perfect form. Using perfect form prevents injury. If you have any pre-existing injury, do not do exercises that use that body part. Do your physical therapy exercises instead. If you experience sudden or sharp pain, stop the practice immediately. Ice the sore body part and let your parents and coach know about your injury. Remember: safety first and ALWAYS!
