Swim Class Description

Swim Class Descriptions

We offer Parent-Tot, Preschool and Youth, and Competition Classes.  Parent-Tot classes are for a parent and children 6 months to 3 years old. A parent will be in the pool at all times with the child. Preschool classes are designed for children that are 3 to 5 years old.  All preschool classes have 1 to 2 swim aides.  Youth classes are designed for children that are 6 years or older.  All Youth 1, 2, and 3 classes will have 1 or 2 swim aides and the instructor will be in the water with the students.

Parent-Tot Classes

For children 6 months to 3 years old we offer Parent-Tot classes where both you and your child get into the water. This class will help your infant or toddler become comfortable in the water. The instructor will teach you holding positions, blowing bubbles, jumps and even how to put your child under the water properly.  We require that children who wear diapers outside of the water wear water diapers while in the pool.
