Head Coach

Maddie Littlepage

Hi All! I am super excited to be coming back to my home team! I began swimming with the Lenah Run Froggers back when I was nine years old and quickly feel in love with the sport and the team. I am now halfway through my college career at Dickinson, where I study International Studies, German, and Security Studies. I am an active member of the Lady Devils Swim Team, where I specialize in distance freestyle and backstroke. Last summer, I worked for the Dulles Farms Devil Rays as the assistant coach and I loved it and I am excited to be challenged as a head coach. Before that I was both a Junior Assistant Coach and a Junior Coach for the Lenah Run Froggers for four summers. At both Dulles Farms and Lenah Run I managed the Mini Rays and Tadpoles program and I look forward to bringing those skills back to the Froggers. I love working with the kids and I am really excited to teach them how to be better swimmers as well as better people. My goals are to teach important water safety skills, great stroke technique, instill healthy respect for themselves and others, exhibit good sportsmanship, and teach them to give back to their community. Go Froggers!

I've been swimming since I was five years old, swimming for the Froggers for five years, and have been a competitive swimmer in a year-round program since I was 6.  I have always loved summer swim because it is so fun and has such a friendly team environment. I want to help everyone get faster while still having a fun time and learn to love the sport of swimming as much as I do.

I've enjoyed swimming for as long as I can remember and joined my first swim team when I was 9.  My favorite part about being a Frogger is the fun and energy that all of the members bring while keeping up a competitive spirit.  This is my third season with the Froggers and have also been on the John Champe High School swim team for the past three years.  I'm looking forward to a great season and very excited to be a part of the coaching staff!

This is my 11th year swimming with the Froggers. Loved swimming in the summer that I started swimming with a Year Round club 9 years ago. I'm a rising Senior at John Champe and have swam for the Varisty team the past three years and just got my first individual record for Champe in the 50 Free. My favorite stroke is butterfly. I am hoping to continue to swim for a D1 University. I look forward to teaching kids to swim and hope they enjoy it as much as I.

I have been swimming competitively since the age of 4 on a year-round team but my first experience with swim team was with the Froggers in 2006.  I have been with the Froggers ever since.  The thing I love the most about summer swim team is that I get to hang with my friends in the community and meet the new families that move in.  This will be my third season coaching for the Froggers. I love helping new swimmers learn to swim and hope that they will love the water as much as I do.  My best stroke is freestyle.

This will be my 9th year swimming for the Lenah Run Froggers.  I have been on the John Champe Varsity swim team for 1 year.    This will be my first year as a junior coach and I look forward to helping others learn how to swim and help improve their swimming skills. I have enjoyed every year that I have been on the team and I look forward to having another great year with the team!

I have been swimming on a year round competitive team since I was 4 and have been swimming with the froggers for 5 years now. I love swimming so much and I especially love summer swim. I think summer swim is so fun because you get to hang out with you’re friends while working hard at swimming. I want to try and help other swimmers love the sport as much as I do.

This will be my 8th year swimming on the Froggers Swim Team.  I love swimming on the Froggers and looking forward to a great season. I’m a rising junior at John Champe high school, and have been on the Varsity swim team for two years.  I am looking forward to being a Junior Coach this year.  I hope to make this season as fun for the other swimmers as it is for me to be a Froggers.  I look forward to helping kids enjoy swimming as much as I do.
