What is your favorite thing about the Gators?

My favorite thing about Gators is the relationships I have built with little buddies, parents, and peers. This team is very supportive and has developed into a second family for me. Over the years, I have made and maintained meaningful lifelong friendships and I believe this community is paramount to the Gator way.

What are you most looking forward to this summer?

The kids really make this job one of a kind and it is amazing to watch them make such giant leaps and strides in the pool. i am also looking forward to the Gator staples in: game days, field day, and Donut Fridays (but also swimming!!).

How long have you been a Gator?

I’ve been a Gator since I was 8 years old!

What is your swimming history?

I started swimming when I was 6 years old so this is my 14th year as a swimmer. In my 14 years, I have swum for many teams including Willow Creek Barracudas, SGCC Gators, Aces Swim Club, DU Hilltoppers, Lifetime Swim Club, and Arapahoe High School. For Arapahoe, I swam on varsity all 4 years and I was a state alternate my senior year.

This is my third year as a Gator coach; however, I started junior coaching when I was 16. I have also coached for the Littleton Youth Swim Clinic in the winter months.

What is your favorite thing about the Gators?

My favorite thing about the Gators is how close knit we are as a team. It is so cool to watch older kids hang out with and cheer on the younger ones and vice versa. As a coach, I also love the opportunity to know my swimmers and hear about the things they are passionate outside of swimming.

What are you most looking forward to this summer?

This season I am super excited to be a head coach and to coach the 11-12s! I’m also really excited to get to know all the swimmers better and watch them all improve as the season progresses.
