I am originally from Santa Rosa, California and started swimming competitively with the Santa Rosa Neptunes at age 5. I continued swimming throughout high school and college setting multiple records at my local junior college. I swam my final three years on scholarship down at San Diego State University ending with a conference championship!
My love for coaching began at the age of 14. I started teaching swim lessons in my parents backyard. Loving the feeling of teaching someone this life skill, I knew I wanted to be a coach!
Before I moved to Kirkland, I coached for Santa Clara Swim Club, coaching 12 and unders. When I came to the Pacific Northwest, I found myself with Wave Aquatics and would bring my two-week-old son, Jack, with me on the pool deck while I coached.
I am married to my husband Iain and we have our two adorable boys, Jack, who is now 2 1/2, and Luke, 8 months. Swimming has always been a huge part of my life! I love it and can’t wait to share the love I have for this amazing sport with your swimmers!
I just finished my first year at the University of Arizona as a nursing major. I swam for Golds Aquatics Club for nearly 14 years, Woodinville High School for 4 years, and High Woodlands as a child. Additionally, I assisted in coaching and managing the WHS boys swim team for 2 years. I could not be more excited for my first season coaching the Kingsgate Royals and to get to know all the swimmers and their families!
