Swimmers are placed in one of four practice groups prior to the start of the season.
The coaches determine the practice groups based on ability and motivation, not age.
Practice groups are assigned and communicated via email prior to the start of the season.
Questions regarding your child's practice group should be directed to Mark Anderson.
Afternoon swim practices start on February 25th and go through June 13th:
Group 1 4:00 PM - 4:40 PM
Group 2 4:40 PM - 5:25 PM
Group 3 5:25 PM - 6:15 PM
Group 4 6:15 PM - 7:25 PM*
* 7:10 PM on Fridays
Summer Practice Schedule
Morning swim practices start on June 17th:
Group 4: 7:00 AM - 8:10 AM
All 9 & ups in Group 2 and all Group 3: 8:10 AM - 9:00 AM
All 8 & Unders from Group 1 and Group 2: 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM
Swimmers are not required to attend all practices. Attendance is not taken at practice. Some swim every day, while some swim only two times a week. Coaches recommend attending three practices per week in order to progress throughout the season.
All new swimmers MUST ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS of our MANDATORY swim clinics with Coach Mark and Coach Paul. If you have questions about these assessments, please contact head coach Mark Anderson.

Dryland training will be offered for those swimmers in Practice Group 4 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Mondays and Fridays starting Monday, March 18th.
For those of you new to the team, Dryland training is a program offered to our older swimmers which focuses on building core strength and aerobic fitness. It takes place outside of the pool before swim practice.
