Mini Otters Precompetition Program
Overlake Golf and Country Club
The Mini Otters Program exists as an opportunity to prepare younger swimmers for the expectations and requirements of participation in the Midlakes Swim League as part of the Otters Swim Team. The primary goal of the Mini Otters Program is to develop aquatic skill and awareness with an eye towards competition. Swimmers must meet a minimum requirement of skill and experience in order to participate. We consider our important Mini Otters program to be our “farm” system. The exact number of groups offered for each level will fluctuate based on demand. Each group will train in one full lane- just like the swim team. Swimmers will be evaluated at the conclusion of each Session and may change levels or graduate onto the competitive swim team.
